How Are Things Going?

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to check in to see how things are going. T wrote in a comment in the last posting. I'll write my ideas here.

I did a hard 3 mile run yesterday (3 miles in sub 25 minutes). I felt pretty good about that. After looking at T's wonderful training schedule, I'm realizing that some things will not work for me. I often get bored of the track easily if I don't mix things up. So, I think I'm going to incorporate a lot more variety in my workouts. Also, playing ultimate makes my schedule a little crazy.

Anyway, feel free to write your thoughts here. Post pictures, include songs...go crazy.

Well, I officially started training on Monday. Half-ass I must say cause my right toe nail was killing me. But yesterday I run 3 miles in 30 minutes (not as good as you Jeanne). It was kind of hard. I guess I get back to speed. I'll do some weights today.
I have a question: what is x-train?

good job gaby! running 3 miles is where it starts.

i also need to keep up with weight training. and, i always say that i'm going to do yoga consistently, but it never happens that way.

x-train just means cross training which is training in another way that will help your actual training. so, if we're running on the track, then a cross-training method would be to do a sprint work-out on a bike or swim.
